Its not easy being a mom and getting ready but I make it happen. With the wedding season back in full gear I have to take out extra time for myself to get glammed up. Having a toddler who requires all my attention…specially when I am getting ready is challenging but I don’t want to look like Zayan’s maid, so I make an effort to look presentable.
This is my look from a friend’s mayoon (pre wedding celebration) wearing Saphire. The shirt’s color is Sailor Blue in organza with fully embroided front with pearls, and sequences. The back of the shirt is plane, and I paired it with a raw-silk white trousers.
For my makeup look I went for something bold. This was the first time I attempted a smokey eye and was pretty pleased with the results. For my eyes I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette and Carli Bybel’s Deluxe Platte. For face I used Maybelline FitMe foundation and Tarte Shape Tape Conceler, and set it with Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder. To contour I actually used a bronzer/blush from Pixi and this has become my favorite way to contour my face. For cheeks I used Tarte blush, and highlighter I used was from the Carli Bybel’s Deluxe Palette. Lips are a combination on M.A.C lipstick in shade Snob, and NYX lingerie lipgloss in brown shade. To finish off the look I used the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
If you would like to see me recreate this look comment below and I will try my best to share a step-by-step tutorial. Love always!
